Q - How would you describe Treasure Hunter Security?
A - Treasure hunting Navy SEAL style! I like to call this my Indiana Jones romance series. All the books star tough, sexy former Navy SEALs who now work for Treasure Hunter Security. Dangerous archeological digs - no problem. Daring expeditions - sure thing. Museum security for invaluable exhibits - easy. Each book has a fast, fun thrill-ride adventure set in some exciting locales.
Q - Why did you want to write the series?
A - I love action, adventure and romance. I have also always been a huge fan of ancient history. In Treasure Hunter Security, I get to combine my passions action, adventure, sexy romance and some real-life history, myths and legends. I do *a lot* of research for these books. Each story explores some ancient myth or legendary treasure and takes us to something thrilling locations from the desert sands of Egypt to the dense jungles of Cambodia to the cloud forests of the Andes.
Q - What order should I read the books in?
A - All the Treasure Hunter Security books are stand-alone adventures. However, characters from the early stories do appear in later books, and there is a slight overarching story with the black-market antiquities thieves our heroes face. So I think it adds something to the reading experience to read them in order. Here's the order I suggest

--What are the Issues--
Morgan is used to intimidating men with her strength, confidence, and skills and she doesn't trust that Zack will be any different. She also believes that he's nothing but an adventurer and once he's done with her he'll move on to more exciting things.
--What I Liked--
I've always loved treasure hunter books so this series by Anna Hackett has been really enjoyable for me. This particular book has the added bonus of being underwater treasure hunting and shipwrecks which is one of my personal favorites even though I'm not really into diving myself. I loved Zack and his fun, charming, and easy going personality. He respected Morgan's strength from the very beginning and never doubted what she could do or put her down for that strength which was wonderful to read. I've been curious about Morgan since Undiscovered, as she's this really tough woman who passed the SEAL training and has this wicked scar on her face. So it was nice to have her story and get to see a little bit about her past and who she was under the surface. I like the mythology of the shipwreck and we got a little deeper into the mystery of Silk Road as Darcy worked more with her "favorite" FBI agent.
--What I Would Have Liked--
I would have enjoyed a little more uniqueness from the other Treasure Hunter Security books as I felt like they are starting to fall into a formula. Treasure Hunter Security gets hired by someone looking for some mysterious artifact, they go out into the field, the two characters fall in love, they have a run-in with silk Road. Then they find whatever they're looking for and there's some type of mysterious creature, possibly magical, that's protecting it and helps save them from Silk Road but leaves the Treasure Hunter Security people alone. I know a lot of romance books can get a little formulaic but normally it doesn't bother me. It might just be that I read these somewhat close together or maybe because they're so short and there wasn't as much time to add in more differences but they're just starting to feel a little bit the same.

I have tried two books of this series now and whoever wrote them is not the same person that authored the Phoenix and Hell Squad books. The "heroine" could never have made it through BUD/S due to all of her insecurities as well as her lack of fighting skill, toughness and common sense. I found myself unable to suspend my disbelief midway through the story with it becoming more ridiculous as it progressed. I will stick to the others...
This is part of a series, but is still enjoyable as a standalone. Once again, Ms. Hackett has delivered a riveting, action-packed, treasure hunting adventure with steamy romance! Morgan is a strong woman and Zach appreciates every aspect of her. Zach is more than he first appears and works his way into Morgan’s heart. The adventure and romance are perfectly balanced. This story has a HEA for Morgan and Zach and there isn’t a cliff hanger ending. I just don’t have the words to describe just how wonderful this story, this series, and this author really are!
Of all the THS books, the team's trip to Madagascar was the location I least know. Hollywood has created movies on Angkor Wat, Mayan archeology, and Sahara desert. But for Madagascar I only knew Dreamworks cartoons. When I googled about the underwater caves and tingsy, I was amazed with the real-life locations which Anna Hackett had set her romance adventure book.
Treasure hunting underwater reminded me of the Titanic expedition I watched on IMAX 3D several years ago.
And who where the silver-skinned team in black? Were they aliens?
These books aren’t the greatest, and if they didn’t have the treasure hunter component I wouldn’t keep reading them. That does make them fun for me, though. The series is rather simplistic and formulaic, and despite the archaeology interests is getting a bit boring. Since there wasn’t anything in the previous books to keep me interested enough to follow the other two guys, I’ll stop here and maybe pick up again with the sister. That’s if I think to check whenever it finally comes out.
Morgan, as the only female guarding clients for THS, is a very formidable woman. She is a very tough nut to crack as far as romance is concerned since up to now no man has been able to feel that they are worthy enough. Enter their newest client Zach. He is more than worthy enough and won't take no for an answer. I really enjoyed this book since they were going for treasure on a sunken ship. The diving was interesting and she made us feel like we were under water with them. Zach's pursuit of Morgan was quite enjoyable. Of course there was the bad guys to be foiled. I was gifted with this book for an honest review, and as soon as it came out I bought it so that I have it in my along with the rest of Ms. Hackett's books. I definitely recommend this book and of course I am looking forward to the next book in this series. Enjoy! 😀
Treasure Hunter Security is back with Unfathomed and the hunt for sunken treasure is on the horizon. Morgan Kincaid uses her skills of charm and subterfuge as she proves to Dr. Zachariah James that Treasure Hunter Security is the best firm for the job. Flirting with Zach is just a part of the job; distract him whilst she swaps canapés for a large emerald treasure recover on his last expedition. So smoothly done that it takes several minutes for him to realise that it has the emerald is missing. Zach needs the best team for security because the treasure he is diving for on this expedition is legendary with the prize being a jewel believed to be able to control the minds of others. Morgan is sceptical of the myth of the jewel, but she can't deny the excitement of diving for sunken treasure or the attraction of the man in charge of the expedition. Danger lies below the waves as well as on board. Someone wants the jewel for themselves and has no problem killing to get to it.
